About the Opportunity

Arrow Energy is seeking a Production Operator - Mechanical to join its team, working with the team in Dalby.

 

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all equipment within the field production area including, but not limited to, well site equipment.

 

Key duties of the role will include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring correct installation, operations and maintenance of generators, hydraulic power units and other equipment associated with development and production in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Arrow policies;
• The safe and efficient operation and maintenance of vehicles, machinery and tools used to perform activities;
• Issuing and close-out of work permits ensuring that all safety precautions prescribed in the permit are fulfilled;
• Ensuring Arrow-supplied vehicles, tools and equipment are kept in clean and serviceable condition;
  
• Reporting all equipment and instrument defects, hazards or incidents; and
  
• Ensuring all activities are executed with Arrow's Safety and Environment management plans.

To be successful in this role, you will require heavy vehicle, skid steer loader and forklift licences, as well as a senior first aid certificate. You will also require a mechanical trade background and have completed industry specific courses such as permit to work and hazardous chemicals licence.

Candidates for this role will need to have a flexible approach to work, be able to work both unsupervised and as a member of a team, plus have a high level of professionalism and interpersonal / communication skills.
