About the Opportunity
Arrow Energy is seeking a Drilling Storeperson to join its team, working from the organisation's Moranbah office.
Reporting to the Drilling Supervisors (North) and Materials Coordinator, the main aim of the role is to handle, store and distribute casing and drilling consumable supplies and equipment, while meeting Arrow-specified standards.
Key duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring all activities and contract work are executed in accordance with Arrow's Safety and Environment management plans;
- Participating in Safety and Environmental audits of the Store's facilities;
- Assisting to maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of the Store's stock in all locations;
- Unloading/loading goods and checking against Purchase Order and Consignment Notes;
- Packaging and sending goods for repair/return and testing within specified timeframes;
- Maintaining all stock and storage facilities in a tidy and ordered fashion; and
- Safely operating and maintaining stock handling machinery and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a Fork licence and other appropriate machinery competencies/licences. In addition, you will possess knowledge of the Queensland Petroleum Act, regulations and Australian Standards, as well as risk assessment techniques and OHS&E legislation/standards.
Arrow is seeking an effective team member who can quickly acquire a full understanding of Arrow's Standard Operating Procedures, and who has a flexible approach to work. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills will be sought, along with the ability to work independently and unsupervised.
