About the Opportunity
Arrow Energy is seeking a Pipelines Engineer to join its team, working from the organisation's Brisbane CBD office.
Reporting to the Design and Engineering Manager, the main aim of the role is to provide pipeline and project engineering capability to assist Arrow achieve effective delivery of capital projects from conceptual design, implementation and commissioning.
The Pipeline Engineer will also ensure projects are delivered to the highest level of safety and environmental requirements, that they meet agreed quality, operational and cost effectiveness objectives and that they are within agreed cost and schedule constraints.
Key duties of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Providing a technical leadership role in pipeline engineering, including low pressure PE gathering systems (water and gas) and high pressure gas transmission pipelines;
- Managing pipeline network models to ensure expansion and development work is achieved efficiently;
- Supporting project managers and engineers to meet project objectives, ensuring project milestones are achieved within approved schedules and costs are controlled within approved budgets;
- Participating in pipeline development projects, including (but not limited to) completing engineering and procurement, as well as construction and commissioning handover to operations;
- Supervising field personnel and contractors in construction and commissioning of pipelines; and
- Preparing and overseeing OHS&E management plans for individual projects.
