About the Opportunity

 

Arrow Energy is seeking five Field Technicians - Installation to join its Exploitation Department in Moranbah.

 

Under guidance from the Field Manager - Exploitation, the primary function of these roles is to install the surface facilities at the Pilot Well assets to ensure that commissioning is achieved in a timely and reliable way so that the maximum reserves possible can be booked against each potential field.

 

As part of the Exploitation team and through the use of technical and trade skills, the incumbents have the specific aim of:

 

  • Ensuring the rapid and timely installation of the infrastructure required to operate the Pilot Wells after handover from drilling;
  • Maximising Pilot Well availability by ensuring that the installation leads to trouble free commissioning;
  • Diagnosing well related problems and implementing solutions;
  • Monitoring past performance and analysing failures to ensure faster, cheaper, better installations of wellhead equipment;
  • Maintaining fixed and mobile equipment associated with pilot wells within skills level;
  • Providing technical support and advice to the Northern Asset Team as required; and
  • Supervising and faciliting the activities of Arrow's contractors.

 

Arrow Energy is seeking applicants with a mechanical background or experience with heavy mobile equipment. The incumbents should be familiar with the techniques and equipment typically employed in CSG Production, while experience in a CSG or conventional hydrocarbons field environment is desirable.

 

A Senior Certificate in Mathematics and English is desirable. Additionally, relevant trade certificates will be viewed favourably. Intermediate computer skills, with particular reference to Microsoft Office Suite, are required, as in a sound understanding of a Permit System.

 

Applicants for this role will need to be self motivated and adaptable with the ability to find innovative solutions to challenges. Organisation skills will be an asset, while a strong attention to detail and capacity to follow procedures will enable you to succeed in this role.

In this position, the successful applicants will enjoy an attractive remuneration package, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
